Concise and well-written review, great debut crow!!! The album is interesting, a 7, but I round down, 4 might be a bit too much, interesting is the fairy-tale atmosphere that characterizes the album... Adalia must really be a hottie! :D

Just to chat a bit: the elusive DJ Stepzak allegedly left Lostprophets because he wasn't happy with the way the music world was going. He supposedly formed Voodoobionic with friends also from Pontypridd, Cardiff... even the Internet doesn't have much information about the DJ, but this is what I gathered while digging through his history, what's left on Wikipedia, and visiting the Myspace of Voodoobionic Featured Content on Myspace the mystery continues!!!

@ Tobby: thanks! The role of the DJ (Jamie Oliver) in "The Fake Sound..." is pretty much secondary, in the sense that aside from the hip hop contamination in some beats, there’s nothing else; this EP, however, is a whole different story! @ Jester: this demo is really hard to find, (try Emule or Bearshare ;D) but regarding their fourth album, I've only heard talk of darker sounds. However, I admit that "Weapon," a track that won’t be part of the new album but was released online a few months ago, is really good and marks a return to nu metal/screamo... let’s hope for the best.

A lengthy review, yet well-written. Decent work from Gahan; I'm not a super fan of Depeche or of Gahan himself, so I would say it seems like a boring CD, with the first single "Kingdom" being one of the few tracks that caught my attention.

Thank you, I must say, it was a great surprise for me as well; I've wanted to review this demo for a while. I highly recommend you listen to it, it’s at times extraordinary, especially tracks 2 and 4.
