In my opinion, this is one of the very first "light" Italian albums worth reviewing. Considering we're in '68 and really only valuable contributions in Italy had been, apart from some beat and very little else, Le stelle by Mario Schifano and of course Faber's first album, this record deserves a lot of credit: the use of interludes, the concept idea, the way the words touch your soul... Perhaps it's not De André's best album, but I always listen to it with immense pleasure... more than a legend, a Hero. I'll read the review later.
