@NUMBER NINE: I believe that ideals cannot be realized, because any attempt would fail much more quickly than any effort to concretize the Hippie ideology, Eastern philosophies, or any religious cult. Whether the intentions are noble or not could be debated at length, but we would always remain of the same opinion. Therefore, if you are against my hippie ideology, I will try to be tolerant; you do the same.

This is a personal viewpoint of mine. I wouldn't like them without that avant-garde touch of Cale, nor without that dark-psychedelic sound, but musically speaking, I just don’t like Reed, and I don’t see anything adolescent in that.
