OK, thank you! I Perigeo coin prog and free jazz; in my opinion, they should be considered a band with a Canterbury lineage. I own Azimut, Genealogia, Abbiamo tutti un Blues da piangere, and La valle dei templi, all fascinating albums. The bands you mention shouldn't be included in a prog vein. I've only heard of Lucifer's Friend... thanks for the suggestion!
