Elisa feat. Ligabue Gli Ostacoli Del Cuore

Well, one thing is that you don't like it, and another is that it has no value. Nowadays, there are very valid metal bands that make technical and demanding music, while your pop is anything but valid, technical, and demanding, so your reasoning falls apart.

Dear Lord, your comment seems quite right to me, but you could have chosen a better album than Paul McCartney's :-)))

To the Editors: When I submitted the review, I had structured the final lines better; is it possible to separate them to make everything more readable??? Thank you.

I don't get a response, I'll just say that in 2006 there are very, very few valid artists left, most of whom are present on this album.
This is a meditative record, yet varied; there's blues, ambient, rock, relaxing lyrics, contributions from various instruments (hypnotic is Wyatt's horn), original artwork, a stunning cover... What was the Pink Floyd fan looking for??? Tell me!!!

So, who????

In my opinion, anyone who criticizes this album is either a Waters fan, simply hates Gilmour, or was expecting a new Wish You Were Here; but what do you want??!?! And have you really listened to the album? Aside from a small repetitive moment, I think it’s a great album. And let’s remember that it features some of the greatest artists still on this earth, like Crosby, Nash, Manzanera, Wright, and especially Wyatt. IF THEY CAN'T MAKE MUSIC, PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHO SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE IT IN 2006?????
Francesco Guccini Live @ Forum Assago 10/11/2006

I don't know Guccini well... I've listened to the first 4 albums, and apart from "Radici," which is a true masterpiece, I must admit that the other 3 previous ones are great albums as well. As far as I know, he has never been looked upon favorably by critics, but I think this has never bothered him much. I haven't listened to this live album yet, but for now, I don't have time. Nice review, though.
Fabrizio De André La buona novella

As Hal has already pointed out, nobody understood this album at first; and this happens only to the great ones, who, unfortunately, can sometimes fall into the traps of the masses' ignorance. But Faber was immense; these 4 concepts alone would be enough to elevate him as a supreme poet... the music is rendered irrelevant or almost by the lyrics, what strength Faber!
