Alright Lord, but you can’t criticize bands like the Vietnamese Tejuytsu Mayakomoref II who have fused hardcore, noise, grunge, ambient rap, and pop elements. Surely among the most original at the moment. I listened to "Close to the water closed" and I must say that compared to them, Yes suck.

But perhaps to make good music one needs independent labels? This seems to be the gist...

I agree with Lord, although we shouldn’t forget those few bands that excelled in '70s America: Rush, Kansas, Pavlov's Dog, and just a few others, a pitiful number compared especially to the English, German, Dutch, and Italian scene of the '70s.

I've always asked you the same question to get a sparse and rather questionable answer, from which it follows that the Pink Floyd without Barrett only made "nice melodies," and I would bombard you with Alan Psychadelic Breakfast. Throw yourself away.

But in a period like the late '60s, it is almost rare to find a group that can be categorized into a single genre; rather, during those years, creativity and the mutual absorption of various genres was the main characteristic. In the Doors, there was blues, there was rock (if we want, both should be preceded by acid-), there was psychedelia, there were folk traces; in short, it was an original amalgam. I think our Jim Morrison can tell you more about it.

I don't know, easycure, Animals is certainly a controversial album, but I'm not sure how much it can be related to the new avant-gardes; let's remember that Animals is a project born in '74. However, I don't see the slightest hint of punk in it, I repeat, neither in the intentions nor in the music.

In the music in question, certainly not; on a social level, however, it seems to me just a forced connection... well, we think differently, at least let's not act like professors :-)

And what are the flaws of the Pink Floyd post-Barrett and pre-Dark Side? I insist on this question, call me a child or a junkie or whatever the hell you want, but you still haven't been able to tell me.
