Sanjuro, the only useless thing here is you and your annoying presence!

@waties: it seems to me that there, for the first time, psychedelia appears in music. What can I say? If you don't see it, that's your business :-)

@waties: I don't want to follow your conversation with Jack, just know that psychedelia in music was born with the 13th Floor Elevators. Whether it was just one element of their music is another story, but they are the pioneers, no doubt about it. And many artists, from Barrett to the V.U., drew inspiration from them.
Genesis The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway

A splendid album, although in my opinion inferior to "Selling England by the Pound" and "Foxtrot". A rather incomplete review, in my view. An album of such variety and complexity deserved much more than just 13 lines on the musical aspect. Nonetheless, it is very useful to report the storyline of this work.

Just one sip of this liqueur would be worth a hundred other bottles. Long live Jethro Tull, long live the two de-reviewers of prog.

The user Polletti has been thrown out of the window... will we find a worthy replacement?

I agree with jackfromhell, except for the vote on this record which, fundamental or not, is stunning.

Never mentioned the Marillion
Pink Floyd Pulse

Would you like to give me a lesson by bringing up the Blur? But the problem is right here: despite the Blur having evolved and the Pink Floyd having devolved, there is simply no comparison between the lowest point reached by the Pink Floyd and the highest point reached by the Blur, and this is where we will never understand each other.

But I have had good words about this album, so to the Beatles as well as to Martin and everything around it... I don't doubt that their live value would have been decent, especially compared to the greats you mention... however, that this album is a masterpiece seems clear to me, perhaps not as fundamental, at least not as it has always been said, but still a masterpiece.
