Krystal, don't worry... just disregard those characters who only show up when it's time to point fingers at someone... the world is full of these puppet charlatans. Review whatever you want: Ravel, Tiziano Ferro, or Mister Pizzacastagna... you don’t need to ask for permission from anyone, there will always be people who talk nonsense (whether it's a review of Take That or one of Mozart).

No no, Pino Scotto is Pino Scotto, he’s one of the last truly consistent musicians left in Italy, let’s not start tearing him down too or it’s all over… let’s hold on to him tightly!

Slayer Christ Illusion

"It's not bad music what we've heard in the last albums, on the contrary... but it's totally useless compared to what was done in the 80s..." But what does that mean? It's obvious that the latest albums, when compared to those from the 80s, completely fade away, but it's also pointless to make such comparisons! An album like God Hates Us All is not useless; in fact, I believe that if Slayer started incorporating different elements into their sound (I don’t know, like electronic sounds, keyboards, or other stuff), well, I think those albums would be totally useless and inconclusive (and this comes from someone who loves experimentation and new sounds). Slayer is what they are; expecting big changes within their sound would be risky—take it or leave it...

I love Claypool and his craziness, I won't let this slip away! A review that greatly encourages the listening experience. Who else plays on this record?

By the way: has it already come out? I had read around that it was being released in late August!

Absolutely monumental in the '80s, forget about any lack of originality, without them there wouldn’t be an entire metal movement. In the '90s, I believe "Seasons in the Abyss" (a monumental album with a title track that's terrifying) and "Divine Intervention," which is still redeemable at least until the first half of the album. "God Hates Us All" is a completely different album from the rest of the Slayer discography, it sounds very modern while still keeping an eye on the past. We'll see how "Christ Illusion" sounds...

Hey, mine is also supposed to arrive tomorrow, and I can’t wait. The wrong side video is pure madness, and the track is really nice, way better than you suck.

Yes, I had also thought about Primus, but I'm not sure if they can be labeled as a true avant-garde.....with all due respect for the band, which is unique and original, but in the end, it can still be traced back to a specific trend.
