"The impression is of being brutally fucked in the pristine bathroom of a contemporary art gallery" hahaha, the dream of everyone, really! These crazies are interesting.

One single criticism (when it comes to Meshuggah, I just can't see it, hehe!): of course, I don't agree with the "downward trend" of the Swedish group, Nothing is something never heard before, it redefines the concept of extreme taken.....to the extreme, but in a sense different from mere brutality. Nothing is nothing like Chaosphere, they don't have anything to do with each other; if anything, Chaosphere takes various cues from DEI. Nothing and Catch 33 are worlds apart, absolutely indefinable, the negation of everything that means "musicality": harmony, melody, and rhythm.

Tepes, you stole my review! But it’s for the best; you provided a very detailed analysis of the CD that I probably wouldn't have been able to do. Aside from the name, Coprofago literally blew me away: I almost want to say that this album is primarily fusion and not much metal; in my opinion, the first part of the CD is more meshugghian while the second is pure jazz-fusion without any ifs or buts. I completely agree when you say that Coprofago is more ethereal, rarefied with few nightmarish atmospheres, unlike Meshuggah. Congratulations once again!

Think, I recommend Terria and Synchestra, which is not at all the worst. Damn, if all the bad albums were like that......to begin with, I think they are quite good.

@S4doll: in my previous post, I meant to say the manga of Berserk (I haven't even seen the anime), I'm sorry. @Ajeje: the movie is very well made and beautiful, but I suggest you maybe check out the comics, there are eleven volumes for the Italian edition, if you go to a well-stocked comic book store I think you will find it. Anyway, Spriggan is a very original mix of science fiction, archaeology, and thriller, all set in modern times.

It's true, I agree. In Reznor there is much more "industrial" substance and real music, while Manson is just a character (well constructed, by the way!). He sidelines the music to prioritize his disturbing and provocative image (he just makes me laugh, a real clown). Mr. Baffo, thank you, I am absolutely flattered by your words, although I still stand by my opinion ;)
