Yesterdays New Quintet Angles Without Edges

Recommended by Zion. I'll try to get this one too, I really liked Madlib under the guise of Quasimoto. If he adds some jazz to it here, we’re in for a treat!

Hehe, in fact... I’m more interested in the more experimental and hybrid side of this genre; I believe the best stuff resides in the labels you mentioned (I only know Def Jux). But I don’t know—I speak as a layman... by now, the fake rappers popping up every day on TV have really annoyed me, and I realize that in this musical field there are truly valid and original musicians. I particularly dislike the attitude of some of my peers in metal and rock, who trash rap and hip hop just because it’s trendy now and because they believe there are no valid artists in these genres. Frankly, I consider it a very superficial argument from those who refuse to see beyond their own little musical world, thinking it’s the most valid.

Let me put it this way: I liked Cannibal Ox, Dalek, El-p, Deltron 3030, and a ton of Necro... if Quasimoto keeps it up to these standards, I'll definitely listen to him! ...Sorry for the "these," but every time I think we're talking about a standard band with guitars, basses, drums, and all that stuff, forgetting that behind such records there's usually just one artist. Sorry for the oversight ;-)

Uhmmm.... I’m quite interested in rap in small doses, especially the more particular and chaotic kind (but I’ve also appreciated something a bit more classic). How are these Zion? Are they crazy enough and mixed up? The review piqued my curiosity a bit, and I’d like to understand what I can from the formless mass in my head..;)

Yes, in fact writing trash instead of thrash is a pretty glaring mistake for someone writing a review like that... then with all these fakes having fun, it’s hard to tell who’s pulling your leg and who isn’t.

I realize that it's hard to describe the music of Oysterhead, but still, this haunting album needed a review.
John Mc Laughlin Extrapolation (1969)

Symbad is simply the best, no doubt about it. I don't own the album in question, but I know dear John from other roles. For a young guy like me who is going through his jazz period, your reviews are a godsend!

What do the Korn have to do with Fear Factory? You'll have to explain it to me... I don't know, Fidia, it's a matter of taste. To me, the analysis seemed really in-depth and, all things considered, understandable (even more so if you know the album well). If the review is all just the work of hypnosphere boy, hats off to him.

Senmayan, it’s clear that you’re sleepy and haven’t read properly… I was obviously joking, I even added the silly emoji in my post, what more do you want?!
