Robert Rodriguez Planet Terror

And I totally agree with Blackdog: Planet Terror should be watched just for the Machete trailer, it’s insane! I wonder which film Rodriguez was inspired by to make that damn trailer... if anyone knows, please enlighten us!

Personally, I enjoyed it precisely because it’s a trash film made in an amazing way and with real flair, but it doesn’t take itself seriously at all like those mega Hollywood productions. It's well-known that Tarantino and Rodriguez have become a bit of sellouts, but at least with these two recent productions, they’ve made it clear to people that there’s another type of film out there, and that life isn’t just about Tre metri sopra il cielo or similar nonsense.

Great reception for a group I don’t know at all, I will definitely look them up (maybe if it's possible a little sample I would be very grateful). In my opinion, progressive is more of an attitude towards experimentation, a certain way of conceiving music that is in constant movement, in continuous progression indeed... And I'm not just referring to long suites of fifteen minutes each with endless solos in between, but also and above all wanting to recreate a certain atmosphere, daring new structures and mixing multiple genres.

And I cover it with a solid five! Here, this record is quite nice (I’m not crazy about CF), except for the cover, which is crap, but the music is good.
Mayhem Ordo Ad Chao

Try changing the group's name on the cover of Ordo ad chao, and suddenly the album will "magically" gain much more value...
Disillusion Gloria
Voto:
Well, Seifer, derivative to a certain extent. The Disillusion probably haven't invented anything, but it's the way they managed to properly blend their multiple influences (and you can tell there are many) that made BTTOS a great album. Essentially, you can sense that there's class in their songwriting, and above all, they're not trivial. I need to listen to Gloria, it's probably like you say.

Ah, Tepes if you haven't already, I recommend listening to Murphy's solo works... I believe you'll change your mind about him and his guitar playing.
