Wayne Horvitz The President Miracle Mile
Voto:
Great Horvitz in Naked City, I’ll try to get my hands on this project of his as well. What do you think of The Presidents?

Am I enough of a brown-noser?
La Zombie Et Ses Bizons Herbe De Bizon

France has always reserved excellent musical surprises, so I will also check out this group (along with all the bunch of names you mentioned...I only know Dun and the great Magma).

What an amazing bunch!
In Flames A Sense of Purpose
Voto:
In Flames were a great band, truly innovative... but those from the second period (from Reroute to Remains, if you will) have frankly been more clever than anything: they’ve been able to sense the air and adapt to the trend of the moment. No one is asking (aside from the diehards) for a clear return to their roots, but a minimum of personal evolution in the sound, for heaven's sake, and not just the exploitation of the latest fashion trend. Dark Tranquillity, from this point of view, are much more consistent.
John Zorn Xu Feng

Really hard to find a subpar record from the old crazy John... I miss this, you got me curious (and I absolutely have to hear Lombardo in this context ;))
Bass Communion Vajrayana
Voto:
Ok, thanks LostInMoments; it should have been mentioned in the review....

But is this the solo project of Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree?
Machine and the Synergetic Nuts Leap Second Neutral
Voto:
To listen to, never heard of these jappo prog-jazzists.
Steve Swallow Home
Voto:
I'm not an expert and I don't know much, but I really like all this, especially your review (as usual ;)). If you're comparing Swallow to Pastorius, there must be a reason, so I'll listen...
