Pupo, Emanuele Filiberto, Luca Canonici Italia amore mio

Now I understand, having savored this masterpiece, why the orchestra, unable to keep up with such musical genius, pretended to protest by throwing the scores.

So, let’s get straight to the point: this piece is phenomenal, and I mean really. The originality of having three different voices, alternating Pupo's growl, Filibusto’s scream, and Canonici's lyrical contribution (which is very gothic) over a "King of Tanghi e Valzer celebri" dancehall base is the most genius thing I’ve had the chance to listen to in 73 years of the Festival. The guitar riff is good and could be linked to Hendrix’s "Are You Experienced", along with a surprising solo reminiscent of early Thrash Metallica ("Metal Militia") in the interlude. The drums (Danny Carey) alternate a swing rhythm between waltz and mazurka, with a hint of polka and steppe dance, constructing a melodic line that seems impossible but is damn catchy, with a death metal punch in the middle that slightly mars the piece but simultaneously enhances its genius. Great work on the bass by Les Claypool, guest for the occasion, who refines the complex and intricate 18-string intertwining of Kerry King - Dave Mustaine - Zakk Wylde. The backing vocals feature solid performances from Max Cavalera, Ihsahn, Myles Kennedy, and Maynard Keenan, who embellish everything with sulfurous, ethereal harmonies, and “Welcome To Hell.” It’s unclear why Scanu's piece was preferred, perhaps a suspected P2 conspiracy. Nevertheless, the three Horsemen of the Apocalypse are awarded full marks.

@Pun: let's be honest, it's true for you too, but what can we do? We have to keep you, and we also hold on to Pearl Jam, even though I much prefer Pearl Jam (who wouldn't exactly be considered grunge, but whatever...). Welcome to Debaser, since the official host hasn't welcomed you yet, I'll take care of it. What can I say about the band? Perhaps everything has already been said, but it's always nice to read something about a band that, for better or worse, has made the history of the '90s and continues to churn out good albums where sometimes just one song is worth more than several albums from many others.. Eddie Vedder is absolutely one of the best, most inspired, and charismatic frontmen of the last decade.. Waiting for Soundgarden.. An extra point for the album to make up for the recklessness of "someone"..

I have a very vague memory of it; I saw it when I was still in elementary school, and it left me speechless. I had the pleasure of seeing it again many years later, and it had the exact same effect on me. Great review, Mr. Freezer, as usual.

But how arrogantly... I've never been arrogant in my life... I might be a jerk to josam but arrogant, absolutely not... The fact is that the movie is truly terrible, in every aspect... Nothing is saved. I'm glad someone liked it; everyone is free to think as they wish. For me, it was a colossal piece of crap, plain and simple. If someone has a different perspective and believes it's a good product and an example that will influence the genre from now on, they can write a "serious" review... More power to them... Nevertheless, it remains the worst movie I've ever seen.

I certainly didn't write it with the intention of receiving unanimous approval; some will agree with my view, some will wrinkle their noses considering it "adolescent," some will have a couple of laughs, and some will be disturbed by it… Look, there were probably 30 to 50 people in the room, and no one was making "idiotic" comments. Maybe it should really be watched within the walls of one’s home to be fully appreciated, but since I’ve seen quite a few horror films and the viewer in a horror film seeks both suspense and a thrill, they remain glued to the screen with wide eyes, not breathing if the story is engaging, mysterious, and manages to capture them in a "growing" way as the plot unfolds. This film truly failed to fulfill its role in any of the mentioned aspects. When, at a certain point, aware of the fact that it was sold to you as the most unsettling film of the coming years, you start thinking, "What a drag, when is something actually going to happen? When is it going to get interesting?" and the doubt lingers until the credits roll, leaving you stunned when the lights come on, it means it was a colossal failure... Because in a horror film, what should one seek? An original plot, a mysterious and captivating development, so that the viewer does not have full awareness of what’s going to happen soon, engaging acting, a solid story, chills when least expected, goosebumps, and a sense of eeriness even hours after finishing the viewing... This is what a horror film should be... Honestly, I had no trouble falling asleep... I really hope this isn’t the beginning of a new movement to come; that would be disappointing... All seen before... And here it was truly done poorly.

@ANATAS: Are you feeling better, dear? I hope so.. As you've been strongly advised, don't waste your data traffic on this junk. @S4DOLL: Did I perhaps say that I can't accept there being something paranormal? The paranormal has fascinated me since childhood, and if I were so sure that nothing paranormal exists, why on earth would I have gone to see this movie? I've seen many films like this, some good, some not so much. This one was truly terrible. I mean: if you want to shoot a film in a style like BWP, fine, but at least make an effort to make it somewhat credible. This film had zero credibility. And it was supposed to be unsettling, especially since it was shot like scenes of real life. But it had nothing real about it. And the intention seemed to be to terrify, right? It came out as a horror film? There wasn't even a single gasp in the whole theater. Unanimous comments on the way out.. "Basically a load of crap".. I don’t know, you figure it out.. @KOSMO: Yes, they hook up once, but they turn off the camera!!!!!! The review is ridiculously exaggerated on purpose; I really couldn’t analyze it "seriously" when a film promises a lot and delivers absolutely nothing—excuse me, but I get angry, especially having thrown away money on the ticket. P.S.: Thank you, todos amigos!

Well, I mentioned two drummers randomly to make a comparison.. There are drummers with real guts, and absolutely Dailor cannot be considered the best, either in heavy or otherwise. I agree that Mastodon are one of the most interesting promises of recent years, but promises need to be kept over time.. (It's still hard to explain how he can sing and play the drums that way with the same ease that a common mortal uses to cut their nails).
