I usually (almost) never intervene on your reviews, which are too verbose and perfect for my tastes, but... There is a thin line; everyone can have their opinion and is free to express it without any imposed censorship of any kind. The only limitations are linked to common sense, which, alas, not everyone possesses. The thin line lies in the fact that if you write about topics that do not belong to you and show from the very first line that you want to treat it like "an essay" (a topic, by the way, that is extremely delicate and cannot be exhaustively handled by a male individual, as he will never fully understand the thousand nuances of the theme: "maternity"), it is unknown with what expertise in the matter or with what touch of humanity. Then, dear De_Lorenzo, this time you really cross the line of arrogance, with an ego pushed to the limits and a conviction that this time falls into the banal, trying at all costs to make people believe that you possess absolute omniscience even on topics that, I’m sorry, do not concern you at all. It's not enough to have a good vocabulary and to know how to put together sentences correctly, like a school newspaper assignment. It takes more than that. Perhaps a bit of humility and the ability to understand when it's time to talk about certain things and when it's time to remain silent. Regards.

It drives me crazy to give you a high five... You have no idea... The reason? Simple, the review is very original; the fact is that I would burn Benedetta Parodi alive along with her cooking... Complete disgrace!!

Then there is another category, and it's the one I love most.. The category of reviews that describe a state of mind, a story that talks about what arose from listening to an album, the emotions felt while the notes flowed, because we listen to music not just to silently admire the skill of the musicians, but primarily to seek out emotions; we make music to feel.. So the first and most important purpose of music, in my opinion, is the emotional reaction it evokes in the listener, and perhaps the courage to put it down in writing and share it with many people.. It’s more challenging to express an emotion than to technically describe an album, no matter how many chords, time changes, genre fusions, brilliant insights, and so on may be involved..
