Fantastic presentation on YouTube: "When will you sing your song" .. A POWERFUL HARD ROCK-PUNK GUITAR opens a crack to introduce the entire album.. Track 2 .. "The thin line" a mid-tempo with an irresistible groove. The lyrics tackle heavy themes with a sense of humor and lightness. Track 3, "In time" - Flash of memory to recount some events from one's personal coming-of-age novel. Track 4 "You've always been there". And what if love turned into obsession and thus became a monster even if it's good?. Track 5 "The truth is a choice" - One of the most determined lyrics in Ligabue's entire production, accompanied by the hardest sounds of the whole album.. Track 6 "Dear Francesco" - A difficult personal moment, wide-ranging thoughts and reflections, the INSOLENCE FOR THE HYPOCRISY OF A CERTAIN MUSICAL ENVIRONMENT in a letter sent to Francesco Guccini.. Track 7 - "Act of faith" A chorus that melodically and harmonically opens up for a clear declaration of love for life beyond anyone's religious, political, philosophical, scientific, or spiritual beliefs.. Track 8 - "A blow to the soul" - The presence/absence of a person, a theme addressed with the right lightness in a very fresh song with an engaging rhythm. Track 9 - "The weight of the suitcase" - A poem by Ligabue turned into a song, one of his most delicate lyrics ever, followed by a musical arrangement that respects dynamics and nuances. Track 10 - "Taca Banda" - Jam Session in a festive atmosphere with musicians and his son Lenny on drums, quirks and attitudes of different types of human characters told to the rhythm of a shuffle. Track 11 - "When will you come to pick me up" - The drama of a news event, the tragedy of the kindergarten in Belgium in 2009, told through the eyes of one of the children present. Track 12 "The best has yet to come" - Probably the most Ligabue-like track of the entire album, a high BPM rock ride where the band marches very strongly... WELL WHAT TO SAY: THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL LUCK! Here we are either truly suffering or someone has improperly cut the stuff.. I'm convinced, even having only listened to the previews, that the cover remains the best thing about the album..

@Emerson: both at the same time or one at a time? I hope you held up without calling Lake & Palmer.. Anyway, I have to tell you something that will hurt... You were just one of many. And neither of them loved you, even if they told you so..

"El Diablo" in a certain temporal context made quite an impression, and I’m somewhat attached to it for reasons similar to those I feel for Dr. Listening to it now doesn’t evoke the same sensations as before; in fact, it has aged quite poorly. While, as Lewis says in 2 Kings, "Open your eyes," even after so many years, they still remain the best of the best of the best... And they have an incredible atmosphere. Yosif... Overrated? By whom? Do we realize that if a band like Litfiba hadn’t emerged in the 80s, the Italian rock scene wouldn’t have been the same? I mean, Pelù, Renzulli, Aiazzi, Maroccolo, and Ringo de Palma... Not just five random idiots. If they’re overrated, what about the others? Anyway, Litfiba 3... So much nostalgia...

In the end, it's all Cecchetto's fault and Dee-Jay Television's.. Nes, and it's fine, I admit it... I got the titles from Uichipedia...

@Yosif: it was just a comparison between what we had here and what was out there.. And to think that during the hardcore and progressive period we weren't afraid of anyone.. If I think that Raw Power are still considered influential and essential by major bands across the ocean... Sigh..!!

"almost each of us has tied their childhood to one of their songs." But also (thankfully) NO... Good thing I was already 21... And I was listening to Nirvana...

And let's not forget that here two pearls of pop music were about to be launched: Paola & Chiara... Apologies if that’s not enough...

The Public Gland??! Oh my God! Undisputed masterpiece of the '90s. While in America grunge was still all the rage, Cobain had already done it all, the Pilots had just released their second album, AIC was about to publish the sickly eponymous legacy, Soundgarden had just produced the masterpiece Superunknown that consecrated them in the pantheon of rrrruock, Pearl Jam were caught between Vitalogy and No Code, on the metal front Phil Anselmo's Down were making their debut, Fear Factory released their masterpiece Demanufacture, Kyuss were raising the tents as the circus left town, Meshuggah were once again demolishing everything with their second album (not to mention other huge releases...), System of a Down were forming... We had a band (with a wonderful dancer unfortunately now backstage exploited only as a songwriter) that spoke to the yyyouth in a language finally for the yyyouth with titles like: "The 1000 Watt Radio," "Factor S," "I Feel You Living," "Without You Here," "Keep the Rhythm," "The Vultures," "The Big Nightmare," "A Love Song," "Music," "Me (or those idiots there)," "The Years," "You're Not Bob Dylan".. Allow me to say... What luck we had!
