You spent few words on an album that, together with Temple of the Dog, represents the peak reached by Seattle music. I have no words. You could have reviewed something else. Layne must be turning in his grave. Don't worry Layne, nothing has happened... The album is wonderful and you were an amazing singer. Keep resting in peace and don't pay attention to it.

The Red Hot are a bunch of fools, but technically (apart from that dog Kiedis who is absolutely not a singer but a total idiot (live he’s dreadful..)), they know their stuff. They’ve changed, of course, since B.S.S.&M. they’ve come a long way, much more downhill than uphill, but the best album remains that one. Without Frusciante, they had no reason to exist; only with him does the alchemy work. I wouldn’t say he’s ā€œnotoriously a technically unremarkable guitaristā€; in my opinion, the riffs and solos he’s produced with the Red Hot and as a solo artist are truly original and have a touch of schizo genius. I prefer him to a lot of other technically monstrous guitarists who don’t transmit anything to me. I’d love to see him in a supergroup alongside Mike Patton.

Freddie Mercury the greatest singer in the world? A good singer, sure, but he pales in comparison to many.. Bryan May is a good guitarist, but we stop at "good".. The impersonator of Gianfranco d'Angelo and the other were sharing the salad. The Queen are one of the most overrated bands ever.. Just because they combined lyrics and rock did they create the best song of the century? I have never heard Mercury reach the heights in "Under Pressure" in a live concert like he does in the studio.. Maybe he does it in this live?

Thank you Doc, I wrote this review after your comment on "Di sana pianta", so it came out a bit impulsively.. I also know the whole album by heart, every single word, and I'm not ashamed of it either. I forgot about ASSALTI FRONTALI (I'm an idiot.. sorry..), I could have, right, saved a bit of insults and I apologize again, and I got the rating wrong, I wanted to give it 3 stars. Thanks to everyone for not dumping buckets of shit on me. You've been too kind so far..

Korn Mtv Unplugged

Listen, I accept the advice and criticism (mine was just a provocation) and I swear my views are quite open (damn, I even reviewed an album by Articolo 31.. Can I be more open than that?). My listening goes from the genre of Loreena McKennitt to Slayer, passing through Fantomas and Mr. Bungle, so I think I'm open enough and not a metal conservative. I understand that Korn are no longer the same as they were on the first album (starting from the second one..) and, for an artist, evolution is natural and sacred, and I have the utmost respect for them. I think Jonathan Davis and the gang, like Metallica, could do nothing but bend to the majors and enter the MTV circuit if they wanted to continue to maintain their lifestyle of parties, villas, pools, designer clothes, and luxury cars, so it’s natural that their style has softened to gain favor with the majority of people. Honestly, who the hell would have followed a band that continued making albums like "Korn" (a masterpiece..) or "Kill 'em all" if it weren’t for a small group of die-hard fans? Korn is a great band that has written important pages in the history of metal and started a movement only to evolve and perhaps lose a bit along the way, but there’s no denying that the individual musicians truly have exquisite technique on their instruments (Even Mr. Davis, despite his disastrous appearance, has managed to improve his voice with nuances and tones he didn't possess before..) and they are definitely not "clueless." Surely the album deserves praise for the courage to re-present even devastating pieces (like "Blind") in a completely twisted and acoustic way; I give them credit for that, and I, who am just a poor idiot, can only be amazed by the inventiveness and the use of numerous strange instruments that, honestly, like many, I never thought would appear in any Korn album and that even they probably didn’t know existed. I also think that an Unplugged for this group is, however, a bit exaggerated and out of place. It suited Nirvana and Alice in Chains, who hid moments of notable fragility and depth behind their anger, and those were truly heartfelt and phenomenal Unpluggeds in how they were interpreted. Cobain was much more real, self-destructive, and mad at the world than Davis (I think Kurt would never have participated in an MTV tribute to Metallica.. and he wanted to do the Unplugged for other reasons..). After Nirvana's concerts, nothing remained intact.. In my opinion, Cobain's anger was much more authentic than what our Jonathan has always wanted us to believe he has inside. With all due respect for Korn. And I also vote for the review again because you did it well.

Don't get mad, peggiopunx (really awesome!!), Jesus said before he died: Father forgive them because they don't know what they do (or say..). The only good thing this total jerk has done, aside from some pale effort to get ganja legalized in Italy, is the first album with Aticolo 31, obviously unknown to anyone. The better of the two is definitely DJ Jad, consistent with himself (I think he was embarrassed too like a thief in a temple with the latest Articolo records, but what can you do, a few bucks always come in handy..) he'll run out of money and quietly return to the Milanese ghetto he came from, while this piece of shit will keep bothering us for a long time. My girlfriend kicks ass!! She should have knocked you out from the moment you opened your eyes in the morning to when you closed them to go to sleep with a metal bat, you ugly fucking idiot!!!!
