I don't understand how one could prefer the Unplugged of AIC to that of Nirvana. In my opinion, Cobain and the guys did it better both in terms of singing (it must be said that Layne was really at the end and was feeling like crap that day, so he has some excuses..), and in terms of the guitar playing (don't tell me that Jerry Cantrell played well in "Down in a Hole"..). It has nothing to do with it, but I was really saddened: Norifumi Abe passed away in a car accident. R.I.P.

KOBAIN?!? And who the hell is Stanley?!? "No excuses" should have been mentioned, at least for the drum work of that monster Kinney and for the decadent pop flavor... "I Stay Away" is spine-tingling, "Nutshell" and "Rotten Apple" are authentic masterpieces. 1 for Layne Stanley, no reservations. The album is a 4/5.

Damn, Kyuss and Faith No More were a bit above Nirvana; I wouldn't call them "little stuff." As for Metallica and Megadeth, I have some reservations, but not about Pantera. "Cowboys from Hell" was a fantastic album, Phil Anselmo delivered his best.
