The Mars Volta The Bedlam In Goliath

Technically MONSTROUS, perhaps a bit too much. In the long run, they can become tiring, but the Blixer-Rodriguez duo has more skills than Kakà and Ronaldinho. Not to mention that crazy guy sitting behind the skins. Forget about Dream Theater...
Unida The Great Divide

John Garcia has been the most underrated vocalist of all time. Honor and glory to the shaman of the desert.

"Upon first listen, I was reminded of another classic of modern hard rock, that 'Badmotorfinger' which the dearly departed Soundgarden birthed in 1991, not only for the compactness and pride of the sound but also in the vocals, which in some parts reminded me a lot of the early Chris Cornell."
Are you joking or are you serious? The early Chris Cornell? The one from Slaves and Bulldozers, Jesus Christ Pose, and Beyond the Wheel? Are you crazy? Phil had great high notes back in the Cowboys from Hell days, but he can't resemble the early Cornell now. No... Really? Anyway, an incredible band, one of the best things (Pantera first and foremost, to be clear) from Filippo Anselmo. Great singer, with octagonal balls with sawtooth edges.
Manowar The Hell of Steel

Congratulations, hilarious review. I'll tell you, I've always found Manowar to be a pain in the ass; I've never been able to stomach them, I'll never go to one of their concerts, and above all, I will never listen to, buy, or download any of their tracks. They leave me quite indifferent, they're intergalactic goons, always with Warrior, Fire, Hell, Metal... But they have always been consistent and above all, always the same interplanetary goons, because honestly, you couldn't expect more from them, so they evoke in me a strange form of respect. After all, they too have played a leading role in writing the history of Metal...

Barrett, with two "t's," damn it, I'm cooked and it's only halfway through the week..

"The Pink Floyd are the Pink Floyd" and the Deep Purple are Deep Purple, the Led Zeppelin are them just like the Grateful Dead and King Crimson, there’s no doubt about that.
You’re cool... Keep it up... But don’t you have anything better to do?
Ah, do you think Barrett was useless and just a "hallucinated druggie," like Jim, or did he have some merit?

God is @here and sees you. Damn, you caught me. Thanks for that link. I was cracking up reading that interview. Especially about Cobain, Hanneman, King, and Slash.

I still prefer Stone Sour over Slipknot.

But then, damn, if you had a band (maybe you do) and played in a basement and/or garage, what would be your first goal? I think: I° Put together covers or your own tracks to play in some local venue; II° Once you’ve stepped out and caught some attention, send your demos to some magazines and record labels; III° Hope that someone gets interested and calls you to come into the studio to record; IV° Sell as many copies as possible to stop working, make money, live off your music, and travel the world with your band playing in front of thousands of people. I think that those who make music at certain levels do it exclusively to sell and be successful. Am I wrong?

Hey prog, you gave a double 1. Then I don't agree with you: where do we put David Silveria? He doesn't seem to me like a mediocre drummer... Like Head and Munky.. Oh well. De gustibus...
