Did you see that they published it? How could they not… It’s truly a great review. Well done! I was also really intrigued by the artwork. I absolutely have to get it; in a time where there’s a musical stagnation and worrying lack of ideas, this could be a very worthwhile listen! Plus, if you compare it to "Call me a Dog", my curiosity skyrockets!

Your comment is beautiful, Nevskji. Indeed, I was expecting, and I am happy, to find you on this page because, from the previous reviews where I got to read your comments, I had the impression that you experienced the Seattle revolution as intensely as I did, remaining a nostalgic of that wonderful era.. ;)

Then, no offense to the commentator, but Vedder has nothing to do with the singer of Pain of Salvation...

@STONEY FOR PRESIDENT! TRUE WORDS BROTHER, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH.. Saying that Pearl Jam are not technical seems "a bit" like bullshit to me as well, everyone has their own opinions, but.. If I were a musician and had made even just one album like "Ten", "Vs.", "No Code", "Vitalogy", "Yield", "Binaural", "Riot Act", "Lost Dogs" or the self-titled "Pearl Jam", I would be completely satisfied, damn. And you can't say that any of these are exactly shitty albums made by technically inept people without ideas. Pearl Jam are the only thing that remains of the Seattle wall, the only survivors. There must be a reason..

Live STRATOSPHERIC! I borrowed it and never got it back, so I decided to buy it again, but the tape got stuck in the stereo and I had to throw it away, sadly. It was practically in heavy rotation all the time! Great..

"World wide suicide" resonates with me as well; it struck me immediately. Regarding the Nirvana-Pearl Jam comparison, it would never occur to me to make it: 1) because we are dealing with two practically opposite entities. The PJ come from '70s hard rock, from singer-songwriters like Neil Young, from The Who, etc. So they MUST be classified as a hard rock band. They don’t have much to do with grunge, except perhaps for their fashion and Vedder's screams in Animal, Go, Blood, etc. Nirvana come from punk, from the Melvins, from Butthole Surfers, from the small underground scenes that existed in Seattle, but they aren't precisely grunge. Let’s say a grunge with quite evident pop influences. Mudhoney are THE quintessential GRUNGE!! Nevermind was indeed a brilliant, direct, and immediate album, but it was its decidedly pop style that reached millions and made it a success. Bleach was their quintessential grunge album, while In Utero was a pale attempt at a "return to origins." As for the Unplugged, I believe it's the best performance by Nirvana in terms of execution. This one from Pearl Jam certainly doesn't surpass it, nor does it come close to Alice's, but it remains of high quality (even if Abruzzese could have gone a little easier on those skins). For the setlist @PA0LOFF2, I wouldn't know what to tell you; there are definitely various versions since it has "officially" never been released. @Nevskji: great comment from you.

Hi Nevskji, I knew I would find you on this page, being a true admirer of Pearl Jam.. The comment about Abruzzese that I quoted was yours if I'm not mistaken..
