@S4DOLL: You’re absolutely right.
@KURT: Go to the polls, but promises are just hot air; what really matters is substance, and there’s very little of that in recent years. Voting against, yes, but against whom? They’re all on the same side now. You can see it on a small scale, let alone at higher levels. People show up to see you, coincidentally a month before the elections, giving you their constructive speeches, let’s do this, let’s go, enough.. Then, once elected: bye-bye (and you never see them again!). Just imagine in Rome. The problem starts upstream. Too many people who are of no use. What’s the point of all those parliamentarians? We have one of the most expensive governments in the world and we’re 66 million souls. A tiny fraction! The U.S.A., for instance, spends much less on their leaders. But the bigger problem is that surrounded by these people are thousands and thousands of others (aides, external consultants, ultra-rich hairdressers, bimbos, etc..) and they are a cost as well. Blue cars on a conveyor belt, bodyguards upon bodyguards (when those who really need it: bye-bye), and the police don’t even have gas for their cars. The truth is, we make people laugh. What constructive thing can you say @NOSE? We live in a country where the head of government is the richest man in Italy, where domestic politicians are the highest paid in Europe, where European parliamentarians are a joke (there was Zanicchi, got it? IVA ZANICCHI. Who earned 7,000 euros a month or more). What credibility do we have in the eyes of other countries? The main news is that the premier is getting a divorce.. But who talks about his 5-6-7 ongoing trials (which he skillfully diverted)? Everyone is glued to Mediaset networks, breasts, butts, and Big Brother. Clouding consciences (P2 docet, because he is also a P2ist), all beautiful, rich, and famous. Where do you want to go, NOSE? Italy is leaking from all sides; it has already sunk a long time ago. Craxi and Andreotti were a thief and a mobster, that’s true, but the political weight they had worldwide was a thousand times that of these poor puppets. We chased them out like witches, and who did we put in their place? Thieves, felons (just check how many there are in parliament, a disgrace; those making the laws are criminals), showgirls, models, entertainers, singers, presenters (Scotti gets a pension as a parliamentarian if you didn’t know). And this was a triumph? Even good old Di Pietro went into politics, of all people.. ABOUT REALITY shows, I can tell you we’re the only ones who’ve reached the IX (right?) edition of Big Brother, if you mention it abroad, they look at you very strangely.. And do you know why? Because most people live vicariously through the lives of these four poor souls, because people WANT to care about other people's lives because their own is empty. Reflect on this, folks.. Anyway, I love my country (not the people running it). Regards..
