I recently approached Tom Waits ;o), and I was struck by one of the most terrifying, visceral, cavernous, and hellish voices I have ever heard. The album is stunning, there’s little to add, while the cover, unsettling and beautiful at the same time, perfectly conveys what one might find once play is pressed. Immense artist, sublime album, spectacular review. Well done.

I completely agree with you about A Clockwork Orange; I think he tried to make references to a huge cult classic, but didn't quite succeed. The fact that it leaves little behind is true; I had to reread it to write these four lines, as I remembered little to nothing.. It was the '80s.. with a conclusion in the '90s.
