Here we are face to face with a great Master and one of the finest periods for painting and art in general (if not perhaps the best). A beautiful painting, with meticulous attention to detail, stunning colors.. This is art in my opinion, no doubt about it! If the Renaissance had lasted forever, it wouldn't have been a bad thing at all.
