The troublemaker who signs as Pier Paolo is not me yet, who always stays in the "clear."

The jokester who signed as PierPaolo wasn't me. After all, it clearly says "vote for the album" in the link.

Alright boar. Townshend sings solo in the bridge of "Baba," in that of "Bargain," then launches into "Song Is Over" and duets with Daltrey throughout the song, and finally takes on the entire "Going Mobile" all by himself. In "My Wife," of course, it’s sung by its composer, Entwistle. He has this slightly weak, nasal voice, a bit subdued compared to the triumphant power of Daltrey.

You are one of those typical music enthusiasts who dives headfirst into reveling in sounds and colors without even distinguishing one from the other. Sure, you don't need to understand much to appreciate the music, and anyone can enjoy the great songs that fill this rock masterpiece. But damn, you're writing a review, so open your ears, or at least grab a magnifying glass and read the notes in the CD booklet! Has it ever crossed your mind that Pete Townshend, besides composing all the music and lyrics except for "My Wife," being the group's guitarist, handling the synthesizers, SINGS?!? He has that melodic, slightly nasal voice that you mistake for Daltrey’s, apparently your idol but not as versatile as you seem to think. And when you hear the virtuosic rock'n'roll piano, that's Nicky Hopkins playing, damn it! What does Townshend have to do with it? I'm convinced that you love this album as much as I do, but THEN LISTEN TO IT! Or just write about the beautiful effect it has on you and that it should have on everyone, without throwing around random facts.

Alright, overrated (especially Lennon) but, between 1965 and 1968, they really opened a lot of doors for pop (and for all that rock that doesn’t deny pop). Then they were overwhelmed by many. The Stones chased after them for years, only to later deviate into rock blues and have their good years, between 1968 and 1972, but I find the Stones even more overrated than the Beatles. All the other names you mentioned, perhaps taken together make a lot, but taken one by one they "move" much less than the Beatles in terms of influence and importance.

Here we are again with the Emerson/Wakeman comparison, which always stirs up controversy: Wakeman has a superior classical training to Emerson, and also a greater delicacy of touch. Finally, he has an unreachable right-hand speed compared to Emerson, who, on the other hand, definitely has a much more secure and brilliant left hand than the blond one. That said, Wakeman is also a boring composer, an obnoxious show-off; ultimately, he takes many steps back compared to Emerson in the history and merits of rock keyboards.
