Ten Years After Ten Years After
Voto:
The Patto were immensely better than the Ten Years, more experimental, crazier, with a great singer, a more powerful and versatile rhythm section, and finally with an unmatched and wild guitarist, hugely more expansive than Alvin Lee, incorporating in his background jazz, the Beatles, Zappa's antics, and much more. Alvin must have certainly fired them, but only after having so much admired them, for sure.

The blacks would still be there weaving to this day... Luckily, a good number of whites fell in love with their patterns, adding some healthy Celtic folk, Beatles-esque pop, sophisticated progressive, rustic country, symphonic classical, Indian, Scandinavian Valhalla, and lysergic acid—all things quite foreign to the blacks and their weavings. Tessio continues to overlook the added value of these mixtures, without which the weaving of the blacks would have remained quite dull.

I don't know, Andy, EMule doesn't know them. By searching in record stores that are more into rock or at Record Fairs, you might come across one of their two CDs anyway.
Stephen Stills Right By You

Hi Don. The term folchettaro, like rocchettaro, isn't derogatory; I meant to highlight Stills' versatility, known almost exclusively for the country rock of CSNY but actually involved and active in many other genres. Regarding Young's waltz, okay, that's a matter of personal taste. Nash's piece is called "Our House," without a preposition. I thought the version of "For What..." in the commercial was the original one (i.e., from '66, as you corrected me), isn't that so?
Mike Tramp's White Lion Last Roar

No Vito Bratta, no party... the White Lion were him. Great desire to talk about the things of the White Lion, well done.
Eric Clapton Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert
Voto:
The best definition of Eric Clapton was given by Armando Peraza, one of Santana's percussionists, who said that he "entered" into every note he played. However, his discography is boring, disappointing, immense class but little substance. This album is perhaps his worst; he was "under the monkey."
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin II

The perfect encyclopedia summary of rock! You get everything right...Let’s say, for youngsters who aren't yet savvy, who may not have grasped the historical context and the individual pieces of the Zeppelin glory.

Things stand this way Longlive 1) The best albums by UH are the first four (by the way, this is the fourth, not the third as you wrote). It’s very hard to say which one is the best, to each their own, as long as we stay among the first four. 2) Zephyr is right, technically the best was the poor Gary Thain, an amazing and distinctive bassist who would have the fame of Billy Sheehan today if he had taken care of himself. 3) The cover is one of Roger Dean's less successful works, but before you dismiss it, take a look at all the ones he did for Yes, Osibisa, Gentle Giant or even the one for "Magician's Birthday" by the same UH.
