The beautiful music in commercials isn't bad; it helps to endure... especially since the volume of the ads is usually higher... let's enjoy it!
Don't you like hearing a snippet of Little Wing among diapers and degreasers?... ;-)

Untouchable album!
In London, at the Tate Modern in Andy's room, the record was echoing in my head!

Yes, indeed the reception needed a bit more care.
Yes, indeed the more you listen to Coldplay, the more you catch the nuances that ultimately make you love them.
I liked this album more than the first two at first listen, but I think in the long run it will be the one that fades away first; the others might not hit as hard at first but have revealed themselves over time.
And I really love the '80s sound that permeates the album!

Discounting 5 for the record, three for the review, averaging between a 5 (for having commented in an original way on a practically un-commentable double album) and 1 because this review has stirred up a hive of controversies but no curiosity directed towards the true substance of the album. If I had read it without knowing Il Bianco, I would have thought it was just a provocation to ignite a debate about the style of reviews. The Double White is a masterpiece because, like in every extraordinary genius (think of Caravaggio, Van Gogh, Kennedy, Brando), it reaches heights and depths hardly imaginable in normal people, and artists. PERSONALLY, but this is pure affection, I recognize as familiar, almost domestic, even the darkest passages of a Revolution#9, so I love the album as a whole. Listen to it without prejudice.
