I don't know the album in question, but I must say that regarding Baglioni, beyond finding the early work he did in the seventies enjoyable, I have the album "Io sono qui" from the early nineties, and while it's not exactly my genre, it's undeniable that in those years he was trying, with good results, to create things that were a bit more complex, both in terms of lyrics and music. Then he gave up on that, and now he does nothing but celebrate himself, and when he releases new songs, they are the same old tiresome and unbearable whines. Well, apparently he makes more money that way... it's his business after all! =)

No, dear ZannaB, that's not the point. First of all, I don't think a review should be judged on grammar; it's not a middle school assignment, the rating should be about the content. But my disagreement isn't just about that; in my opinion, it's absolutely not a review of the album, as it says nothing about it. It's just a sequence of trite clichés about both the band and Italian rock in general, and, to be honest, they seem like sterile and tedious polemics. Moreover, claiming that Roberta can't play the bass or that Alberto can't sing only shows how the reviewer is light years away from the perspective one should have when looking at rock. So I wonder why they don't focus on Dream Theater instead of wasting time reviewing a band they despise... anyway, everyone does as they please... you enjoy.
