Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Ohio / Find The Cost Of Freedom
Voto:
Fantastic review for an immortal single.
Emerson, Lake & Palmer Works Vol. 2
Voto:
Great musician, but a pain in the ass all the same.
Grand Funk Railroad E Pluribus Funk
Voto:
I miss this, but from what I know of them, I adore them. They truly deserve to be counted among the best in hard rock.
Perigeo Abbiamo Tutti un Blues da Piangere
Voto:
This type of jazz-rock bores me extraordinarily and I find the comparison that many make between them and the Soft Machine quite bold. The music of the latter was genius, crazed as well as thoughtful. Here, I only see (too much) brain. De gustibus.
Neil Young After The Gold Rush
Voto:
After recently repurchasing it on CD (the old cassette had literally worn out), I can safely confirm that it is truly beautiful, even though I always prefer the rockier tracks (When You Dance You Can Really Love and Southern Man) to those that reveal his more country/folk side.
Graham Nash Songs For Beginners
Voto:
Until now (except for Chicago, which I really like and would like to understand, without any polemic, why you consider it to be pretentious) I had always thought of Nash as the least interesting of CSNY, and I never liked the Hollies much either. However, this review reveals a competent and passionate analysis that has considerably piqued my interest. I’ll try to download it.
The Jesus And Mary Chain Psychocandy
Voto:
In front of Psychocandy, one cannot help but feel their own lowly essence. If one were to keep track of the bands that have passed through here over the next 20 years, it would take a lifetime.
Yardbirds Having A Rave Up
Voto:
In here, the essence of hard rock is present, and for certain atmospheres like the one created by the fake sitar in Heart Full Of Soul, I also see English pop psychedelia. Jeff Beck is a monster, absolutely.
My Bloody Valentine Ecstasy And Wine
Voto:
Just having an album like Loveless at home earns you all my respect.
Grails Burning Off Impurities
Voto:
I really like it, but I really really like it (just like the review).
