Stanley Kubrick Il Bacio Dell'Assassino
Voto:
The only one by Kubrick that I haven't seen yet. I've heard great things about it, so the review (very nice) is an incentive to go back and look for it.

this is a really nice movie, though it's nothing incredible.
dEUS Worst Case Scenario

One of my favorite albums of all time, among the best works produced in the 90s. I even prefer it to anything that came out of England and the United States at the time. They'll never reach these levels again, although they've done other works that I find extraordinary, like The Ideal Crash. The last one is absolute nonsense.

It's my antidote, the one that manages to save at the last minute days that seem destined for failure. I thank Clark for having written a masterpiece like I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better.

On occasions like these, unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), words are hard to find.

They are not at all pompous like other prog groups that made extensive use of keyboards (well, the mellotron itself is more "delicate"). Grail, in my opinion, is a masterpiece, one of those songs that you fall in love with at first listen, and I don't think I'm exaggerating. The rest of the album is also at very high levels. I have often found them compared to the Moody Blues and Cressida, but, in my view, although it is still symphonic prog, Spring is infinitely more modern.
Hüsker Dü Metal Circus

They are among my favorite bands and, for sure, in hardcore there's nothing that can rival. Maybe it's that melodic streak that is always present, even in their hardest phase, well represented by this album. Diane and First Of The Last Calls, just these two titles are enough.
Tyrannosaurus Rex My People Were Fair And Had Sky In Their Hair...

My passion for 70s glam rock has led me to love its subsequent albums (Electric above all), under the new name, but I haven't even casually listened to anything from its hippie phase.
Dillard & Clark The Fantastic Expedition of Dillard & Clark

You make anything interesting, congratulations.

The lyrics in this album are the most evocative of his career, and the music is fitting even if sparse, without redundant arrangements (unlike in other episodes of his discography). I especially love "Giorno di pioggia."
