The review, to be honest, doesn’t seem very good to me. At certain points, it’s unclear where the author wants to go: "It’s not a five-star film because, while it is the best James Bond ever made, it’s not the highest peak reached by a spy film. That honor belongs to Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece 'North by Northwest' (to which the entire 007 series is hugely indebted). But that’s another story." So what? I mean, that paragraph seems randomly thrown in. Furthermore, there are some inaccuracies. The film, however, is a masterpiece as well as one of the best in the series; James Bond at his best, with undeniable class, and a storyline and characters that are just exaggerated enough.

Extremely concise, you could have perhaps said more, but I still think it's great. As for the film, I would rate it a 5; it's one of the best of its years and genre.

If it hadn't been published by Mondadori at that particular moment, it might have had a shred more credibility. In fact, no, since the content and the nature of the operation don't deserve it.

I completely agree with the comments above. Additionally, the geo-chronological parameters of the edition and the identity of the editor make everything entirely lacking in credibility.

I saw them live, sharing the stage with Isis, and I met them—nice guys, except for the singer, who is really big and dark. During the concert, he stripped down to (minimal) underwear... I immediately thought they had a lot of potential.

Beautiful, brilliant basic idea, the entire trilogy is written in fairy-tale and dreamy tones; I read it centuries ago but it's one of the few books I occasionally think of picking up again. Calvino has given me a lot. Excellent review in its succinctness.
