I completely agree with the first paragraph. As for AC/DC, what can I say, they are an institution, genuine greats.

But who is this? "Desert folk rock" pianist? Sounds interesting, I've absolutely never heard of him.

Why not start with Candlemass, maybe Nightfall? Black Sabbath deserves a listen regardless of the doom genre. I would also recommend Paradise Lost, but I'm not sure if they still do doom. Great review anyway; I know a bit about Candlemass, but I neither have the time (their songs last a lifetime) nor the desire to delve too deeply into the genre.

Unmissable, the ABC of trash indeed. Well done Hetzer. I honestly had the doubt that it wasn't all staged by Gialappa's, but this doesn't take away from the value of the work.

Great album this one, good review too, but I suggest you open an umbrella, as they say around here. I'm not a fan of track-by-track, but for an album like this it can work. In my opinion, though the production might be a bit atypical, it’s not that bad; the guitars sounded very powerful.

I only know Ratos De Porao because of Sepultura, they're pretty raw and badass.

The only one this time that I consider even musically is Kylie Minogue, but I am heavily influenced by the fact that she’s one of my favorite women and that she has duetted (in a more than pleasant way) with one of my favorite singers (Nick Cave, to be precise since she might have duetted with others); and then she’s Australian. Not that I listen to her anyway, never. I don’t know this one, but I remember what was supposed to be her first video that played non-stop on MTV back in the day; there are worse things after all.
