Daniele Luttazzi Decameron: poltica, sesso, religione e morte (2007)

Instrumentalized by whom? By the left? Is there still anyone who thinks that there is a left-wing lobby in Italy? And Fede, who is he instrumentalized by, always the left? And Rossella? And Mimun? And Riotta? Are they all communists? And these people aren’t even comedians, on top of that. Moreover, satire is biased, indeed partisan, by definition: it must express opinions. And let’s not bring up nonsense like par condicio, because Fede says all the nonsense he wants even during elections.

Well, I add that I mostly agree with Fiquata, the issue should be taken more than seriously. Too often, they try to portray Berlusconi as a clown when he is anything but. He should be taken seriously, for what he is, even if he is well disguised.

But excuse me, I have a doubt: I thought that the Satyr was that half-human, half-goat being that chased maidens in classical mythology; when did it become synonymous with "satirical author"? Anyway, I tried to watch Decameron while it was still on air. What can I say, high-quality texts as usual, but you could feel the tension in the air, and there was a bitter taste to it all: in short, definitely a comedy light-years away from the more carefree (but no less abrasive) styles of Tabloid and Fontecedro. Personally, I preferred Satyricon, which also had a very original format as a show; on the other hand, I am not familiar with "Sesso con Luttazzi," and I guess I should catch up. Regarding the Bulgarian edict, it is one of the gravest political events of recent years, and it is also serious that it is scarcely discussed. I won't express further because I am already feeling pretty awful without talking about the injustices of Berlusconi and company.

"Sick of life - it sucks!" "I won't be a fascist pig!" What an overwhelmingly beautiful album! A milestone; I grew up with this even though we started hanging out a bit late. A tight album from start to finish, with exceptional shouted choruses. Not bad until Lights...Camera...Revolution!, featuring the great Trujillo on bass, although definitely a bit flashy, at times even too much.

Yes, I didn't want to emphasize that aspect too much, but it's undeniable that it's an interesting phenomenon, a beautiful example of the intertwining of seemingly distant cultures; just think of people like Madness, white musicians playing black music, drawing heavily from those sounds.

Well, sometimes it's written like that. Being a pseudonym, it might occasionally be subject to some variation.
