Never heard of this record, but I have respect for Geezer Butler who has been able to challenge himself (even if I can't really see him imitating Fear Factory).

Well, well, let’s embrace the rawer, cruder side of metal, which doesn't do any harm, quite the opposite! This page seems to serve that purpose excellently.

Now that I think about it, that CD was probably given to me by my ex... I'd say there's a connection!

I liked The Art Of Drowning by these guys a bit; I must still have that CD somewhere... nice anyway, not exceptional.

Great review of a group I really like, but I have to disagree on some points, for example the fact that Nick Holmes is not a good entertainer... In Anatomy Of Melancholy, which for me is an excellent live album, he says a lot of nonsense and interacts a lot with the audience between songs. As for the others, sure, they are an English band and quite gothic at that, but I wouldn’t say they aren’t engaging and don’t get involved themselves live! I mean, they are Paradise Lost, not Pantera, and that’s just fine. As for the rest, I appreciated the artistic evolution of albums like One Second and Host, but in my opinion, the issue in that phase wasn’t so much the evolution itself but the quality level, which in some cases (like Believe In Nothing) has somewhat diminished compared to their earlier works. Anyway, I highly recommend Anatomy Of Melancholy, which I think is the best product of its kind that you can get; this one seems a bit more niche to me.

A review of The Tin Drum, I say goodbye and leave before it starts to rain.

A character who, despite everything, is more difficult to understand and appreciate than to criticize, too "political" to be considered for what he truly is, that is, first and foremost a musician, who has done excellent work and who now lives, as is right and obvious with the passing of the years, a descending parabola that has nothing to do with the aforementioned "political" aspect. Significant even just for how much he has sparked discussions among everyone over the years. I haven't listened to this one, like in general the last ones.

Now that I think about it, it is similar... but plagiarism, I don't know, I wouldn't say that. The one from KC is also nice; I haven't listened to it in ages.

But it doesn’t even resemble us, not at all…
