Yes, but you beat around the bush; you didn't explain to me what the reviewer invented that is historic...

Demagoguery? Why? Well, I think everyone knows the story at the level of the Wikipedia page... the USA, land of opportunity, after the downfall of the USSR and the fall of the wall and after the embargo on Cuba: no kidding. And this should be said before bringing up the usual clichés, as S4doll rightly defines them. I repeat, it seems to me that no one has disrespected history, that no one has denied things or approved things, and that no one has engaged in revisionism, least of all the reviewer. The only historical fact that emerges from the review is that Tetris is of Soviet origin.

In the author's intent, the USSR in the title fits perfectly. What would be incorrect about it? Tetris was developed by personnel from the USSR using technology from the USSR, and that's a fact on which the reviewer based a somewhat dreamy and nostalgic reflection; whether the creator was robbed or not and whether Stalin did some terrible things or not has little to do with the review. As for the game, I don't know, I don't think it was really necessary to explain how Tetris works... for me, definitely not.

But what revisionism... I fully agree with the comment above by Fiquata. Anyway, I believe that the USSR towards the end of the eighties was far removed from the "villainies" that occurred (but that’s a discussion that has little to do with ideology and even less with the review) and no one denies it. It is not the country that covered Pajitnov in gold, and that must be said (but the review doesn't seem to deny it or approve it), fortunately it is also not the country that did so and has committed other villainies and is still doing so. This is a page that expresses a point of view (among other things, in a very unserious tone) from the side of pure ideology (almost bordering on feelings, it seems to me) and does not engage in any revisionism. Is it written that the gulags were a good thing? Or that they didn’t exist? No, it states that Tetris is Soviet technology. So far, that seems like a factual statement to me. In the end, Pajitnov worked as a researcher for the USSR, he didn’t receive royalties, but I don’t know his bank account just as S4doll doesn't know it. This is my simple opinion since I liked the page and I don’t like historical revisionism either (not just me, I believe).

I confirm, the doubles in BS are optional!

Look at Workhorse, Sound Of White Noise is a phenomenal album. I admit I'm a bit biased when it comes to ratings, but as far as it matters... I'll refer you to the comments of the aforementioned review for my "official" stance on the album, so maybe we can avoid reopening the debate XD.

Beautiful, it almost moved me.. I didn't know that Tetris was created by the comrades.

Up here in the north, it seems that this folklore has been somewhat lost… dissipated in the smoke of the factories.

But how serious, I mean it, endless support for such positive work. The crude thrash/speed/heavy metal from the late '80s to the '90s is an important well to draw from, scattered with diamonds at the bottom.

Maybe it's just me seeing Lynch everywhere, but the curtains, the mare, the nightmare... I'm not very familiar with the author here, but I like this esotericism in art. I also remember an episode of X-Files where it was an old woman visiting in dreams, sitting on the abdomen.
