Guns N' Roses Appetite For Destruction

The first line was enough to sum up all your intentions: "Write a review of Appetite For Destruction. Why do it?" Be careful, I'm not accusing you; I'm advising you to look for something less abused!

What nonsense. Brutal is a genre; you may like it or not, but it's not right to judge. Anyway, I agree with Gueddo: man is flesh and soul (indeed, considering what some Muslims do, he is often just flesh), and once dead, the body chemically decomposes. Then, religious beliefs are personal; some believe in reincarnation, some in hell and paradise, some in Valhalla... in any case, the carcass decomposes until it becomes dust; this is proven.

Great, I see we are on the same wavelength!

No, come sound, Krisiun are devastating! Cannibal Corpse, yes, they're quite gore, ancestral, and horrific, but Krisiun are no less intense when it comes to attack!

No, no Tepes, caprons no... If you ask me from a technical standpoint, only good old Paul Vattelapesca is a bit of a clod... Anyway, they're not that brutal compared to Nile, Cryptopsy, or those crazy madmen of Krisiun, who make a racket for fifteen with just three of them...

Come on, admit it, Paul Vattelapesca is WAY too tupa-tupa!

Anyway Gueddo, I can’t really consider Cannibal Corpse as Brutal... not that I don’t like them, they’re exceptional, but in my opinion, they remain within the limits of a more traditional death metal. I believe this is largely due to the drummer Paul Vattelapesca, who honestly hasn’t evolved even in the last albums (the breaks, the blast beats, and the fills are always pretty much the same). It’s a bit strange because Pat O'Brien as a rhythmic guitarist is a war machine (just listen to Frantic Disembowelment), Alex Webster is a truly uncommon bassist, and even good old Jack Owen wasn’t bad at all. Why do I say this? I don’t know, but the drummer seems to stand out a bit negatively in the line-up (careful, I’m not saying he’s incompetent, but there are 50 better ones).

I will get this album, if only because George Fisher is a wild man (that’s why he’s an idol!). Every time I hear him announce "Hammeeeeeeeeeer SMASHED Faaaace ! ! !" on the live Cannibalism, I get hyped!

I haven't heard the album in question, but I can't stand Zakk Wylde lately... He always does the same things, just like Kerry King and Kirk Hammett. Among the three of them, they've really rested on their laurels, and while on one hand it's understandable, on the other it annoys me to see that many artists roll up their sleeves every time to make a step forward, both in terms of songs and composition, while still remaining quite niche.
Rammstein Völkerball (Special Edition)

But the highlight is definitely during "Feuer Frei," when Richard Z., Paul Landers, and Till Lindemann use those strange flamethrowers. There's no denying it, Rammstein really knows how to entertain the audience! Of course, you have to like them for the music, and not just for the pyrotechnic shows, which are still pretty cool.
