Dimmu Borgir Stormblåst

I mean, this album is definitely one of the greatest of all time. Regardless. The original is for sure better, but this one has its own impact.

While I partially share your opinion, I found that, setting aside (perhaps with some effort) the purely commercial purpose of the CD, this Stormblast 2005 is a great work that, in a different way—certainly softer, but for me with an impact and atmosphere in certain pieces perhaps greater than the original—represents a milestone in its genre. To be blunt, I would give both a 5. However, I reiterate, setting aside the profit-driven nature of the work.

But stop it.
Dimmu Borgir Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia
Voto:
It's disjointed, and there are some pretty major grammar errors... But it's not all that bad: it's better than that of the Exodus, I agree with Axlspark on that point. I've listened to the CD, but it didn't impress me much; it feels very far from the Dimmu Borgir of the beautiful Stormblast.

It's not a prestigious name, deathinaugust... that's all, in my opinion. Congrats again, you're a very valid reviewer. Unfortunately, I know few of the bands you've described, and some only slightly.
Falkenbach Heralding - The Fireblade

In this CD, there's nothing depressive (at least in my humble opinion), but it’s really beautiful. Anyway, I’ll leave the word to the undoubtedly more experienced Lord Nazgul.

And you, Mr. Tepes, which Darkthrone do you prefer?
Falkenbach Heralding - The Fireblade
Voto:
Congratulations Lord Nazgul, really congratulations. The album is very very beautiful, but I slightly prefer Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri.
