I completely agree on this last point made by Children: it's true, lately the Simpsons have been recycling too often the Homer/Marge crises where they seem to break up and then get back together. There's no doubt that the Simpsons are great, but the Griffins are definitely not a load of nonsense. The fact is this: the humor of the Simpsons is generally more "refined," while that of the Griffins is completely absurd.

I really like the Griffins, quite a lot actually. And they are very different from the Simpsons, both in terms of humor and characters. I can understand that Peter Griffin might have been inspired by Homer Simpson, but the idea that the entire series is a copy of the Simpsons…

Of all the possible definitions for SOAD, I prefer "alternative metal," at least for their first two albums. Toxicity is definitely one of my favorite albums, so I have a lot of respect for this band that started with music filled with great ideas and, above all, good ideals. It's a shame; they got lost along the way.
