Elbow The Seldom Seen Kid
Voto:
Today, this album peeked out at me from a shelf of the melbook, but since I was there to look for the new Sun Kill Moon (which I inevitably didn't find), I didn't pick it up. I've been following them since their beginnings; I hope this isn't a disappointment, but from the enthusiastic review, I imagine my doubts are unfounded.

Alright, fine… this time it’s done! But next time, ask me for permission before commenting on Tori Amos! I come first :D :D… Anyway, I hope I’m not being arrogant, but I already know what Captain would recommend :P... I would start with Under the Pink ;) (I know you didn’t ask me, but I just can’t help but meddle in other people's business—you're not offended, right Captain?)

How nice, I'm the first to comment! Even though I don't have the record in question and, being an EWF which many think I am, I should get it. Your pages are always beautiful, captain... but I also want the review of Y Kant Tori Read, she may have disowned it but it would still be interesting.

Beautiful proposal (I have listened to them, even though not this album, and I believe I will check them out) and a beautiful and heartfelt review. Congratulations!

@azzo you even left out Diamanda Galas... and to be honest, also Tori :( I'm not a big fan of sensationalist and over-the-top reviews, but yours is still engaging. She's good but has never really said much to me.

I really like the way you write, and the page, despite its length, is a pleasure to read... but isn't your effort too much for an individual like this? :D
Sean Penn The Pledge (La Promessa)

I've never seen it (I know little about Sean Penn as a director) but I believe I'll fix that soon, this page inspires me...
Alfred Hitchcock Psycho

Lemur, you took the words right out of my mouth... The remakes of Hitchcock are something else... Van Sant's is a humble declaration of love for cinema.

Wow, I hadn't noticed that you called Van Sant's remake a piece of crap... lumping it in with sequels and references doesn't do it any justice at all...
