The album is amazing. The review is certainly not perfect; in fact, you repeat "alienation" at least twenty times. But there’s a lot of effort, and you can see it.

Beautiful Mop, I liked it; and since everyone has had their say on grunge, let me do the same: to me, "grunge" doesn’t mean a damn thing, in the sense that between bands like Mudhoney, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and the rest, I only see the common origin from Seattle and the same attitude of "being defeated from the start" (yes, it sounds good to say it that way...), even if with nuances and perspectives that are sometimes different, considering that musically speaking, the points of contact aren't many. And to be honest, I wouldn't really include the Smashing in this genre.

I say that Michael Jackson didn't even know (and still doesn't know) about the existence of Al Bano, let alone if he copies him...

Beautiful words, beautiful things for sure, and then you’re a Pearl Jam fan like me, so you really deserve the 3. But damn, go read Burns’ post above (which is missing a few names on his list) and please apologize for the nonsense about the '80s. A decade of great music, like all the others, except maybe the current one.

Back to sales levels, but the first CDs compared to this are a whole different story.

Mind your own business? In what sense, sorry?
One writes nonsense, and I point it out to him, what are we doing here otherwise? And anyway, I never argue.
