@Bartleboom: To be honest, I couldn't care less if you don't like incense and anise, if you have migraines, scoliosis, Alzheimer's, etc., I'm free to praise this record however, wherever, and whenever I want. By the way, all three of their albums in the stoner/doom/psych niche have consistently ranked in the top 3 and 7 positions among the best albums of the year. Moreover, with a collection of nearly 1500 albums in this genre of music, I believe I can provide a nearly objective judgment of what I have at hand. If you want to talk about the record, feel free to do so, but you can spare me this Luttazzi-style "humor" that doesn't make anyone laugh.

Founding group of the sounds made in Southern Lord Records, terrifyingly powerful, massive, sick, low, slow, hypnotic, distorted, and everything in between. I just got the digipack reissue 2CD with all their tracks and a 40-page booklet—what an immense thrill! Don’t let it slip away!

Exercise of style the OM? But if they are one of the groups that dared the most in the underground/stoner/doom/heavy psych scene? In their "simplicity," they have extremized doom and stoner, bringing them to levels never seen before... the exercise of style is quite another thing, the latest HOF is an exercise of style, but the OM certainly isn’t! See the angel on the cover? Well, I assure you that in 10 years there will still be a plethora of people bowing before this album; just one day after Hakius's departure, this record is even more of a cult. A cult like Lysol by the Melvins and Dopesmoker by Sleep, unrepeatable albums, not just peanuts.

The split with Current 93 features an awesome track by OM, too bad it’s not in an original release; however, I really can’t stand Current 93, or I think they’re just not my kind of thing, who knows! But the track by OM is fabulous. It’s worth buying!

It’s currently my favorite album of 2007, a spiritual journey like no other I’ve ever experienced. A one-of-a-kind record; such a pity about that jerk Hakius who left. They’ll find another drummer, but I don’t know if there will be the same feeling anymore, unfortunately. Yesterday I was really bummed out... they were supposed to come to Italy in September if I’m not mistaken.

Beautiful, I listened to it for 2 months straight last summer ;) A gem!
Down III: Over The Under

Down II is clearly better than the third one, which doesn't do much and gets tiring very quickly.
Melvins The Maggot

A medium disc, which I had and sold because I no longer listened to it, maybe because it left me very little. The trilogy, to be honest, doesn’t excite me, unlike Senile Animal, which is really cool. Colossus of Destiny above all should be avoided; it’s a gigantic joke.

Of course I know, but if you write nonsense it's better that you don't write! No offense, regards and kisses!
