I share the distinction between comic and comedy, Enea.
Yes K, unfortunately the Barbie-woman has an irresistible influence on me... and if I find myself in front of the Barbie+Helvetica combination, then I just can't resist!

You're right, cc, it's just that I don't feel like doing anything and so every opportunity is good to start a nice debate on DeBaser! Guevo, patience, what can we do? If one day I write a book, I won't include you in the list of potential buyers :-)

When reviewing a pop album, people give it a 1 if it's bad; if the review is well done, they might give it a 5. For this review... alright, it's a joke, but it makes you look much more "tough" (but do you also have the timba and the charro belt at home?!?) pontificating about Lynch or Kubrick (perhaps using the same clichés I just used) than reviewing Renatone; anyway, I still firmly believe that anyone with a strong passion for cinema (you’re talking to someone who was practically raised by Martin Scorsese, FFC, and Uncle Stan) feels the need to compensate for "high" authors, like those just mentioned, with what is called B-movie cinema... it’s like with your partner; you realize you've been trapped when you start to appreciate even what others consider flaws. If, on Debaser, people voted solely based on the seriousness of the review or the supposed orthodoxy of the reviewer, my presence certainly wouldn’t be an asset...

Dude, do you think there could be a movie where Gloria Guida doesn't show her boobs? I would also add as a quote, "So how are we left? And you end up in deep shit, Allegri!" Odra, thanks for the heads-up, but it wasn't a typo, there's also "patriotico" with a single "t" (I agree with you that it's a bit of a jerk move, it's like saying "pei campi" instead of "per i campi"...)

But Fred, you’re right, I’m the first to say it’s an MTV group… and by now this album, having been heard everywhere, has also finely chopped the cabasìsi into thin, thin, thin slices… However, I wrote the review because I liked the (pseudo?)political approach and the references in some songs to Tommy by The Who. Even now, having not listened to the album for months, I’m convinced that for their standards it’s a good work. And anyway, in the end, it’s pop-punk… borguddighel is popppunk!!!

AA.VV. Trainspotting

Imma, I'm referring to the last 30 seconds of the film, where Mark promises himself to become a good person, settle down, start a family, etc. It’s the same monologue that Alex delivers at the end of the book *A Clockwork Orange*. A finale that Burgess added later and which really pissed off Kubrick.

saying that this film is an invitation to get high is pretty much like saying that A Clockwork Orange is an invitation to violence. By the way, the only thing that annoys me about Trainspotting is that the ending is the same as that of A Clockwork Orange (the book by Antonio Borghese, not the movie by Uncle Stan). Anyway, young devotchka, you hit the nail on the head: in the film, the morality has to be discovered, it doesn't come out in an obvious way. And that's why I like it (besides the scene where Spud disses the girl's family).

You're right, I fell victim to my own preconception that someone who calls themselves a metalhead is actually a metalhead... what a mistake! (yeah, I have a humor like a beam up my ass but there's nothing I can do about it...)
Regardless of your musical preferences, I'm looking forward to hearing your opinion on sheik!

I haven't listened to it yet because I want to go to that damn record shop named after an actor from Tarantino and Cohen films, drop these 13 bags on him, and buy the original. They may be grumpy, but they deserve it. True, the website is really nice (but also take a look at the Klimt 1918 site...who cares!).
