Good album, not my favorite by Manson (I prefer Antichrist Superstar and Holy Wood) but there are some absolutely valuable songs ("Speed Of Pain" and "Dissasociative" just to name a couple). Great review (I didn't know about Billy Corgan's backing vocals!).

Finally, I can say that I've listened to it enough to make a judgment. Well, it disappointed me quite a bit; it left me with nothing. The first part is fairly lively but somewhat 'empty' and lacking in ideas (nice "Letting You"), while the second part is much more introspective and instrumental, yet decidedly boring and not impactful as one would expect. Too bad, because Trent's last real album, Year Zero, I really liked a lot.
