<<Give 7 to the album, rounded down to 3 stars>> Different scales of judgment, but for me, 7/10 is equivalent to 3/5, without excess or flaw. As for the group in question, I listened to (and reviewed) Disclaimer II and I didn't particularly like it.

Oh well, that's true, obviously there's an abyss between him and Dargen D'Amico. I never said he's a great rapper, I just say that I like him and I appreciate his albums ;)

You still don’t get it. I repeat, I only said that it seems superficial to judge an artist based on just one song. How can you say they are this or that based solely on a single song? Listen to one of their albums, and then judge; it seems so simple to understand. I say this because I also discovered them through "Pagliaccio Di Ghiaccio." It made me laugh, both the song and the video, because they were so obviously ridiculous. But then I did some more research, obviously not taking the persona too seriously (in fact, I never said they are good or talented), and listening to their albums, I found stuff very different from "Pagliaccio Di Ghiaccio." At least, I gained a more 'complete' view of what Metal Carter is like, which allows me to judge better without basing it solely on ONE song, as many have done here. What I want to say is that it seems more fair to judge the song "Pagliaccio Di Ghiaccio" than to judge Metal Carter as a whole without having the foundation to do so. With this, I don’t mean to say that Metal Carter is an "avant-garde artist" or anything like that; I’m just saying that regardless of which artist we’re talking about, judging someone solely based on one song (not even that representative) only shows ignorance and superficiality. Besides, in 44 comments, I don’t see a single one discussing the reviewed album. But everyone does as they please, of course.

<<Hey, look, he wrote and sang it himself, and the good metal carter even made a video for it. So of course I judge him for what he does; what else should I judge him for, what he thinks and doesn't do? Meh...>> You haven't grasped the point. What I mean is that it seems superficial and ignorant to judge any artist solely based on one song.

A review and a record as essential as a Studio Aperto broadcast.

Honestly, among those from TruceKlan, it seems to me that Gel (as Axel mentioned above) is the one closest to the Italian mainstream. Listen to his latest album if you haven't already, and then let me know. From the review, it seemed you wanted to say that Carter was closer to the mainstream just because he recently collaborated with Fibra, and that didn't seem like a valid reason to me since I consider him anything but 'mainstream' musically. But now I understand what you meant, peace!

"Metal Carter is the rapper closest to the mainstream of Italian rap." Well, how about that. Anyway, Metal Carter, as technically lacking as he may be, is a rapper I admire, and I quite liked this album, especially for the atmosphere it captures. Then again, if people judge him just for "Pagliaccio Di Ghiaccio" (which, by the way, isn't even included in this album)...
