There was no need to list the groups you listen to, just to come off as the know-it-all metalhead... I understand what you mean, but like it or not, nu metal is like that, you have to accept it. It's such a varied genre that bands like Slipknot and Limp Bizkit are thrown into the same category, even though they have nothing to do with each other. But what can you do? That's how nu metal is. If you don't like these groupings, I don't know what to tell you... You have to accept that this genre is very diverse, and you can't put another band in a different genre just because you believe they don't belong there. Slipknot are NU METAL, damn it...

And if you tell me that Deftones sound like Korn, it means that 1. either you've never listened to Deftones 2. or you've never listened to Korn... at most you could say Coal Chamber, which I consider the band most similar to the Bakersfield group.
