I just saw the name Devin Townsend, I'm giving it a 5 to balance it out ;)

Guys, what a drag! When do you guys get offended, mothers? I'm getting bored...

So, according to your convoluted argument, if a group you like or respect were to do something really awful, you could never give them a 1 or 2, because you would be comparing them to the Finley or Dj Francesco?

"Do you give two stars to Lene Marlin or to Finley?" According to your criteria, who deserves 1 star or 0? Cristina D'Avena?

And what's the point, excuse me? The purpose of the discussion wasn't to "convert" the other person to one's own beliefs. We're simply talking about the album; after all, that's what Debaser is for, right? You're the one taking it a bit personally and not accepting simple criticism (which, by the way, wasn't even directed at you, but at the CD). So, to sum it up, giving 2 stars to this album and defining it the way I did is nonsense, while giving it 5 stars and defining it as you did is honest. Wow, how cool you are! PS: I actually liked Results May Vary, but what do you know.

But can't you see there's no way to discuss with someone as biased as you? Damn, I've always said that Papa Roach are among my favorite bands, yet I still maintain objectivity in my judgments; and that's why I was disappointed, because honestly, I expected a bit more from them. Then the fact that you say my opinions are bullshit, well, you could have spared me that, clearly you don’t accept criticism (which is also justified), and you should seriously reflect on this. Just think, it seems to me that giving 5 stars to this album and even calling it experimental and powerful seems like a record-breaking nonsense, but think about it. And please, let’s not talk nonsense about Korn; their latest "moves" may not be to everyone’s taste, but the fact remains that album after album they have always changed their skin, they have always experimented, regardless of whether I like it or not. It's simply a matter of fact.

At Trofè, for you it’s experimentation, for me it’s just a misstep, because I don’t see any experimentation. Let me give you an example: the latest from Korn was criticized by everyone for being too "pop," but I really liked it because Davis and the guys changed their skin and experimented with new sounds. To make you understand that I accept and appreciate "changes," but here I don’t see any experimentation; I only see a band that used to play nu metal suddenly doing simple pop-rock songs. If you even see power in this, do as you wish; I’ll leave it to those who listen to this album to decide if Shaddix and the guys are pounding and have as much "Nu Metal aggression" as you say. Aside from the first two tracks, I don’t see any power at all, neither in the riffs, nor in the singing, nor in the groove. Why do I like Time Is Running Out? Because at least as a pop-rock ballad it’s excellently made (like Forever), is there something wrong with that?

5 stars?! Well... If I had to give 5 stars to the PR, I would have given them to an album like Infest, certainly not to this one. Pop-rock melodies, zero power, romantic ballads reminiscent of Scars, easy and catchy tracks. The only saving grace is the single To Be Loved and a few tracks here and there (Forever and Time Is Running Out, for example). A bad misstep for Shaddix's band. Really a shame.

Isn't it honest? What are you talking about?
