Apart from the fact that Korn didn’t invent anything... Prong and Clawfinger were already doing similar things back in the '80s.

At least musically, in my opinion, they don't draw influences from Manson; perhaps in terms of image, though, they might.

Maybe with the NIN yes, in the sense that they do have a tendency toward catchy choruses and pop melodies, it’s just that the overall atmosphere isn’t as apocalyptic/angry as that of the NIN, and also, although their sound features a lot of electronics, guitars are present as well, even in greater abundance than with the NIN (of course, I’m always talking about studio songs).

In fact, cyberpunk is a literary movement, in music this movement is mostly represented by EBM/Harsh. @ThirdEye: They have absolutely nothing to do with the bands you mentioned: these are very electronic, they have nothing to do with the Cyber Thrash of Meshuggah and company.

Good review.. they are great, even though this album is slightly inferior to the previous ones.

Well, it’s definitely not Industrial metal; Industrial metal is something else. This is Industrial/Death with influences from all extreme metal, it can't be classified just as Industrial metal. Overall good reception, but perhaps with a bit too much celebratory tone.

I too, when I signed up on Debaser (a year ago), was 13 years old... what the fuck does that mean? By 2nd or 3rd grade, you should be able to write much better than this, and I'm not talking about adjectives (I too, in my early reviews, didn't know how the hell to describe a song and always used track by track) but I'm really talking about syntax and grammar. That's what you need to improve; the rest will come naturally.
