De Maio as a bassist is clearly an oxymoron.

Anyway, you need to explain this thing about the poor guitarist to me... what should Hudson do? For me, in this album (but also in the previous one), he's impeccable... and then, after 20-plus years, still nostalgia for Martin... I don’t know... apart from Telespalla Bob's hair and the red glasses that were amusing, I've never heard anything remarkable come from his hands... I mean, he's just a guitarist like many others, in my opinion...

I confess I was afraid of this return. I have a deep reverence for Patton and his thousand projects, and first and foremost I place Faith. I was afraid because 18 years is really a long time, and upon the first listen, I was a bit perplexed. It's a challenging album, but it grows impressively over time. I haven't listened to anything else for the past two weeks. Every track is noteworthy; there are no dead spots or fillers... and the best part is that the entire album sounds damn Faith No More. All the musicians are perfect, Gould is a powerhouse... Hudson impeccable, Bottum and Bordin take the front stage, and Patton... well, he's Patton. The only flaw of this album is that by the time you reach the tenth track, you wish for more. I really hope this isn't a fleeting return, but that the guys still have the desire to create. Great review and a 5 to you just for mentioning Primus at the end.

Thinking that I could have seen them and didn't, thinking "oh well, let's wait for the next tour," has always torn me apart. And to think they played in Baricella, just a few kilometers from my home, and I wasn't there drives me crazy. Approaching 40, I believe I can say I've seen hundreds of concerts, from big arenas to small clubs, but they will forever remain my greatest regret when it comes to live music. Your reviews are always excellent, just like your comments.

Amazing album in every sense. It's not grunge, but who cares. So much nostalgia for the 90s supergroups, damn...
