Starship Troopers is often understood as a banal Hollywood action movie with a reactionary/fascist undertone, but it is quite the opposite; instead, it is a great film, featuring plenty of irony, a strong anti-militarist critique, and some (not too subtle) references to American obtuseness. And it is based on a novel by Robert Heinlein, a convinced militarist and patriot.

I had the video game for Amiga 500, but it wasn't that great.

I prefer the films of Luca Damiano.

No one has pointed out the remarkable dose of sarcasm and irony contained in the film (the news broadcasts and television ads that are broadcast from time to time are stunning: back then they seemed like science fiction, today they are realistic), which is nonetheless quite violent and permeated by a strong sense of pessimism. One of the films that most strongly stigmatizes the rampant yuppism of the '80s, beautiful!

Great NWA, as angry as few have ever been! "Fuck Tha Police" is one of the greatest rap songs of all time, and Straight Outta Compton is a phenomenal album. Anyway, Eazy-E's first solo album is "Eazy-Duz-It" (released in 1988, produced by Dre himself), and before he passed away in '95, he also released 2 EPs.
Woody Allen Prendi I Soldi E Scappa

one of the best of the first Allen (but I prefer "The Dictator of the Free State of Bananas")

This film of theirs, given that I don't have a particular fondness for the trio, is the only one I've seen (and I watched it only years after its release) and it pleasantly surprised me; for me, the best part remains the parody of neorealism that they do in "Un Biglietto Amaro," it's just too funny!
Walter Hill I guerrieri della notte

"Warriors, shall we play at waging war?" legendary!
Bad Religion How Could Hell Be Any Worse?

"it's totally ridiculous" is a bit excessive, indeed. Let's say that "Into The Unknown" doesn't hold a candle to albums like this one, "No Control," or "Against The Grain" (another masterpiece by the band).
