I agree: I don't think anything is more annoying than all these new English little groups (and they call themselves INDIE?! Back in "my day," bands like Pavement, Sebadoh, and Dinosaur Jr. were considered indie, not these mollusks!). Regarding England, I was impressed by how Oasis (sorry for throwing up a little) are regarded as deities by practically EVERYONE (both young and old): every time the DJ (or the band on stage) started with an Oasis song, EVERYONE WAS SINGING ALONG WITH TEARS IN THEIR EYES! And I saw the same thing happen in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds... then all the guys with those fucking Converse on their feet, with the same haircut, they look like they were made with a mold. I must admit, though, that at least in Camden Town, there are quite a few venues that host solid concerts (I caught MDC, hardcore legends, there in 2006), and there is definitely a musical vibrancy in the UK that we can only dream of. So disappointed, but not too much.

A classic; loosely based on the underrated "The Virgin Spring" by Bergman

@eletto87: Rob Zombie, a singer, will never reach the skills of Fincher? I remind you that Fincher started as a creator of ultra-polished commercials and music videos (Madonna, Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Aerosmith, etc.) and his directorial debut was the very ugly "Alien3"; in the end, aside from "Seven," "The Game," and "Fight Club" (good films, but far from being great masterpieces), he hasn't really done much... @Ajeje: I reaffirm that this is something entirely different from The House of 1000 Corpses: trust me, it’s worth at least a watch.

Infantry Of Doom is a blast, the other two a bit less so.

A brilliant film, even if a bit heavy; I read somewhere that the famous sex scene was not planned at all, but stemmed spontaneously from the actors' improvisation.

In the previous comment, there's a "di" at the beginning that shouldn't be there...

Great movie, hugely superior to the confusing and almost silly (yet still enjoyable) "House of 1000 Corpses," which blatantly referenced Tobe Hooper and the whole galaxy of B-movies in general, while here the reference film is "Natural Born Killers." Rob demonstrates a certain virtuosity, never gratuitous even though it's quite "music video-like," and delivers at least 2 iconic cinema sequences (the initial police raid and, above all, the beautiful finale). And the soundtrack is S-T-U-P-E-N-D-O-U-S!!!

Ironman is already downloading; as for the Gravediggaz, I recommend "Six Feet Deep" (or even better "Niggamortis," which is the European version of the same album with an extra track). Oh, I just rewatched the blaxploitation-style video of "Got Your Money" by ODB, it's beautiful!
