Alright, that's better then! I still need to see this film (I downloaded it right after watching Grindhouse), but it has all the ingredients to please me. I had absolutely no idea about it, but apparently it's considered one of the masterpieces of the genre... among the ones I've seen, my favorite is Peckinpah's Convoy, really great (that one also has a "real" ending and an "apparent" one).
Roberto Benigni La Vita E' Bella

if only Benigni were still a devourer of priests and gospels...
Primus Frizzle Fry

Mike Watt doesn't possess even a fraction of the technique and inventiveness of good old Leslie.
Pedro Almodòvar La Mala Educaciòn
Voto:
I enjoyed it. Almodovar's masterpieces are elsewhere, but whenever a film takes on the clergy, I always like it.

telling the ending of a movie is a very bad thing
Guy Ritchie Revolver
Voto:
Talent!? Guy Ritchie has never had talent; luck and audacity, yes, but real talent, no. I've only seen 2 of his films (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, considered his best) and they are worse than the other, truly terrible (but he hit rock bottom with the remake of "Travolti da un insolito destino..." with Madonna).

I'm sorry to contradict you, but unfortunately today electroshock is being used, and it is. This is largely thanks to that piece of crap Giovanni Cassano, a renowned psychiatrist, who has recently reintroduced it, singing its praises, and actively practices it on his patients (= victims) as a treatment for a variety of different conditions.
Don Coscarelli Bubba Ho-Tep
Voto:
Both the book and the film are truly small masterpieces; well done Coscarelli, he finally managed to move on from the Phantasm series, which had really become tiresome (his episode in Masters Of Horror is great too). Campbell is amazing as always.
