Sidney Lumet Quel Pomeriggio Di Un Giorno Da Cani (Dogday Afternoon)
Voto:
a stunning film, with great suspense, strong social criticism, and incredibly talented actors. I would say that among all heist movies, this is my absolute favorite. The reviews with overly detailed plots and spoiled endings are really annoying.
Rollins Band The End Of Silence
Voto:
the best of Rollins along with Hot Animal Machine (which I personally prefer).
Joe Dante Gremlins
Voto:
I love this movie, one of Dante's best.
Edgar G. Ulmer Detour
Voto:
an exceptional film, a masterpiece of the absurd in which the atmosphere has that paranoid-anguishing nuance typical of the best episodes of "The Twilight Zone." As Zigghio rightly says, it is a fundamental noir.
Turbonegro Retox
Voto:
disappointing, I liked Party Animals more (which was also quite ugly)
Claude Nurisdany Marie Perennou Microcosmos - Le Peuple De L'Herbe
Voto:
And where do you see the affinities with the Reggio trilogy? Microcosmos has nothing to do with it; they are completely different films that only share the fact of being without dialogues and comments.
Claude Nurisdany Marie Perennou Microcosmos - Le Peuple De L'Herbe

I disagree with the reviewer: this is certainly not a little movie, and it is perfectly suited for the cinema (where I actually saw it twice), which greatly enhances its spectacularity. When I saw it the first time (very stoned), it seemed almost like a science fiction film... beautiful.
Martin Scorsese Cape Fear - Il Promontorio Della Paura
Voto:
Good film, although it stands tall mainly thanks to a magnificent De Niro, absolutely overflowing... however the real masterpiece is the original from '62 (and Mitchum beats De Niro by several lengths).
Lair Of The Minotaur The Ultimate Destroyer
Voto:
None of those present have seen Romero's "Zombi"? I can't believe it!
Smashing Pumpkins Zeitgeist
Voto:
It seems that this album is terrible even to Billy Corgan himself.
